DIAGONAL MAR SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT 

Diagonal Mar is a neighborhood of the city of Barcelona, located in the Sant Martí district. It is one of the newest neighborhoods in the city and was designed and created thanks to the urban plan that was carried out for the celebration of the Universal Forum of Cultures, in 2004. At the end of the Avenue, there is a Shopping Center (CC) of the same name, opened in 2001. It has 249 stores, spread over three levels.

The purpose of the this workthis work was to develop a Specific Plan Amendment (Plan Especial) for a change of land use in the Diagonal Mar shopping center in Barcelona, in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Barcelona Specific Plan for Non-food Retail Uses (Plan especial del comercio no alimentario de Barcelona) and the Urban Development Planning Law (Ley de urbanismo).
