NEW ACCESSIBLE ROOFTOP WITH WATERFRONT VIEWS
Conversion of a nineteenth-century rooftop with steep slopes and marginal uses into a fully accessible area, from which to enjoy the Barcelona waterfront. The layout of the entire space revolves around enjoying the panoramic view of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. The project perfectly integrates the building rooftop with its surroundings to create a Mediterranean atmosphere, including a central reflecting pool.
The rooftop plantings, together with the materials used (ceramic, wood, wicker, stucco and wrought iron) helped to define, articulate and humanize the space.
